Bjørn Wiinblad had a love of figurines with hats, and the archives contain countless examples of how hats keep appearing in new, creative and playful ways. Of course, he didn't design small, pretty hats. No, they were large, opulent creations that were both sculptural and avant-garde in their style – just like in the Lady with Hat series. The vase in shiny glazed ceramic measures 24.5 cm where green is the dominant colour, and the geometric circles of the skirt contrast beautifully with the hat’s checks. The hat grows like a small tower towards the sky, while the elegant lady holds on to it with her hands. This gives the vase a whimsical and imaginative look, perfect for a bouquet of flowers in a playful home decor.
