Keramiikkataiteilija Anu Moser suunnitteli Moser Riippuvalaisimen Louis Poulsenille vuonna 2002 lähtien liikkeelle ei varjostimesta vaan sulan lasin omasta käyttäytymisestä — pehmeästä pisarasta, joka muodostuu lasinpuhaltajan pillin päähän. Moser: a 2002 pendant shaped like blown glass
Swedish ceramic artist Anu Moser designed the Moser pendant for Louis Poulsen in 2002. She took its drop shape from watching molten glass form when a glassblower first starts to blow. The closed opal shade hides the bulb completely and glows evenly.

No glare from any angle
The enclosed drop shape shields the bulb entirely, so the light is comfortable even at eye level.
Thick, even glass
The thickness of the mouth-blown opal glass spreads the light softly over the whole surface.
Good in groups
Three sizes let you hang several at different heights over a table or in a stairwell.
A patented mount
Louis Poulsen patented the mounting mechanism that holds the glass to its suspension.
Born from molten glass
Moser studied how hot glass changes shape in the first moments of blowing. The pendant keeps that soft, heavy drop, as if the glass had only just left the pipe. Three sizes repeat the same form at different scales.
Made for efficient bulbs
The lamp was developed for energy-saving bulbs. Moser chose a closed drop shape so the bulb is never seen, and the thickness of the glass turns it into one calm, diffuse glow with very comfortable light distribution.
Choosing a size
The Ø185 and Ø205 share the same suspension, and the Ø250 is the largest at 360 mm tall. The small sizes suit a bedside or a row over a counter, while the largest can light a table on its own.
Materiaalit
Mouth-blown opal glass
Matt white glass that glows evenly; each shade varies slightly, as hand-blown glass does.
Polished aluminium
The suspension is polished aluminium, a bright contrast to the matt glass.
Cord and canopy
A 3 m cord lets you set the height, and the canopy is included.

Born 1945
Moser is a Swedish ceramic artist and a specialist in restoring ceramics, a craft she also teaches. She has exhibited her ceramic work around the world. Her Moser pendant for Louis Poulsen grew from a study of how glass behaves in its first moments of blowing.

Which bulb should I use?
One E27 bulb. Louis Poulsen lists 40 W; an E27 LED in warm white gives the same soft glow with less heat.
Can I dim it?
Yes, with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer.
Can I hang several together?
Yes. Mixing sizes at slightly different heights works well over a dining table or kitchen island.
How do I clean the glass?
Let it cool, then wipe the glass with a soft, damp cloth and dry it with a soft towel.
Is the canopy included?
Yes. Each pendant comes with a 3 m cord and canopy.
