Tanskalais-italialaisen GamFratesi-duon vuonna 2017 Louis Poulsenille suunnittelema Yuh-lattiavalaisin siirtää Poul Henningsenin häikäisemättömän ajattelun nykyaikaiselle kielelle. Yuh: GamFratesi's 2017 lamp that moves with you
GamFratesi, the Danish-Italian duo Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, designed Yuh for Louis Poulsen in 2017. The name spells the word "you" by sound. Its shade rotates, rises, lowers and tilts on the stem, sending glare-free light down and a soft glow up.

Light where you need it
Move the shade up or down the stem, turn it and tilt it to aim the light.
Down and up at once
The main beam lights your task, while a slim opening in the top adds soft ambient light.

Stepless dimming from 15% to 100%, a 4 or 8 hour timer, and a memory for your preferred level.
Brass and marble options
Extruded brass stems, with lacquered brushed brass and marble base versions.
Shaped by movement
The shade's form comes from the way it moves on the stem. It shifts from a circular base to a linear opening at the top, a shape you notice as you slide, turn and tilt it to send the light where you want it.
Danish lines, Italian ease
GamFratesi drew on the geometry of classic Danish design, including Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen. Yuh carries their focus on shaped, glare-free light into a lamp you handle daily.
Floor, table and wall
The 140 cm floor lamp suits a reading chair, and the 61 cm table lamp a desk or sideboard. The wall lamp makes the wall its stand, which saves space beside a bed or a sofa where a table would be in the way.

Matt painted in black or white; wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
Extruded brass stem
The shade slides along it; lacquered brushed brass on brass versions.
Built-in LED
A 10 W LED at 2700 K with an external driver, so there is no bulb to change.

GamFratesi
GamFratesi is the Copenhagen studio of Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi, founded in 2006 after both had worked at other practices. Their work joins Danish craft and Italian design culture, often drawing on classic Danish designs.
