The Ito Kitchen Baskets are reversible fabric baskets from ferm LIVING's Ito family, a contemporary take on traditional kitchen textiles. One side has a delicate stripe in bold colours over a two-tone twill, the other a natural cotton chambray, all in GOTS-certified organic cotton.

The Ito family takes the stripes and twills of classic kitchen textiles and gives them a contemporary palette. The kitchen baskets bring that look to the counter or the pantry shelf.
Two sides, two moods
Outside, a delicate stripe in bold colours crosses a two-tone twill weave. Turn the basket inside out and a natural cotton chambray takes over, so one basket gives two looks for different rooms or seasons.
Round or rectangular
The rectangular basket is 30 by 19 cm and the round one 23 cm across, both 18 cm tall. Use them for bread at the table, onions in the pantry, or other household essentials that need a home.

ferm LIVING was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. The Ito family was developed in its Copenhagen studio as a contemporary interpretation of traditional kitchen textiles, woven in organic cotton.
