Entretien : compatible lave-vaisselle. Compatible micro-ondes.

Rhombe: Lyngby's 1961 rhombus pattern, raised in relief
Rhombe is Lyngby Porcelæn's white dinner service built on a pattern from the factory archive. The rhombus first appeared on the ovenproof DAN-ILD range in 1961; in 2014 it was reinterpreted as a relief inspired by the double spiral of an artichoke or a cone, pressed into every plate, bowl and cup.
- 1961Year the rhombus pattern first appeared
- 2014Year Rhombe was relaunched in relief
- 27 cmDiameter of the dinner plate
- 1.9 lVolume of the Rhombe teapot
A pattern you can feel
The rhombus is raised in the porcelain, giving each piece a pleasant, tactile surface.
Starter to dessert
Plates, bowls, sauce boat, serving dishes, teapot, cups and a cake stand cover every meal.
Mix with colour
White Rhombe combines with Rhombe Color and Rhombe Earth for endless table settings.
Made for daily use
The tableware is dishwasher safe, and the plates can also go in the microwave.

From the archive
Lyngby Porcelæn's archive holds the rhombus pattern from the 1961 DAN-ILD range. Rhombe pays tribute to it, but instead of being transferred onto the surface, the pattern is now shaped into the porcelain itself.

A demanding relief
The relief follows the double spiral found in nature, as in an artichoke or a pine cone. It is technically demanding to produce and made in a complex process mastered by very few porcelain makers.

A full service
Flat plates of 16, 21, 23 and 27 cm, soup plates of 23 and 24.5 cm, bowls, serving bowls and oval dishes set the table. Mugs, cups with saucers, a teapot and an étagère handle coffee and cake.
Matériaux
White porcelain
Hard, glossy and chalk white; dishwasher safe, and the plates are microwave safe.
Raised relief
The rhombus is pressed into the body, so it never wears off like a print.
Glazed finish
A clear glaze softens the relief and makes the surface easy to wipe clean.

Karakter Copenhagen
