La lampada da tavolo VL38, disegnata da Vilhelm Lauritzen alla fine degli anni Trenta per l'edificio Radiohuset di Copenaghen, è entrata nei cataloghi Louis Poulsen nel secondo dopoguerra. Rilanciata nel 2016 con tecnologia LED, la lampada conserva il suo fascino rétro ed è oggi disponibile sia in bianco/ottone sia nella versione nera introdotta nel 2017, caratterizzata da un profilo più deciso pur mantenendo le morbide curve del design originale.
