This Marimekko set holds two matching kitchen towels in a cotton and linen blend, printed with Pieni Unikko II, the small-scale poppy that Maija and Kristina Isola drew in 2008. Unikko was born in 1964, at a time when Marimekko collections held almost no floral designs. Maija Isola was fascinated by flowers and drew a whole range of novel floral prints, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
Each towel is made of 57% organic cotton and 43% linen and measures 47 x 70 cm. The set comes in White / Beige / Dark Blue. Wash before use, follow the washing temperature given and leave out the fabric conditioner, allowing for shrinkage of up to 6%. Made in Estonia.
