The Marimekko Unikko Collectible Ornament 2 pcs is a set of two ornaments in the Unikko pattern, each stamped on the bottom with the Marimekko mark and the year of production, so the pair can be dated and collected. Unikko dates from 1964, when Marimekko collections held almost no florals: Maija Isola was drawn to the theme and designed a complete range of new floral prints, and the poppy now stands for creativity.
The ornaments are made in Thailand from white stoneware, one finished with a pink glaze and one with a clear glaze. They measure 7 x 7 cm and 6 x 9 cm, and the set comes in Pink / Cranberry / White / Plum in the Marimekko gift box.
