The Marimekko Oiva / Unikko Plate pairs the Oiva tableware shape, designed by Sami Ruotsalainen, with the Unikko print. Marimekko's famous poppy was born in 1964, when the design house worked mostly in abstract prints, and Maija Isola answered with a whole range of florals; today the flower represents creativity.
The plate is made in Thailand from white stoneware and measures 20 cm across. It is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe, and comes in White / Plum / Cranberry / Pink, White / Beige / Light Sand / Dark Green, White / Red / Blue, White / Clay / Rose, White and White / Black. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Build a table from two or three colourways, or set it under the 25 cm plate, with more Oiva in the Marimekko collection.
