This rectangular cushion cover carries a single placement printed Unikko flower, printed in Helsinki, and closes with a concealed zipper on one side. Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964, at a time when floral designs were almost absent from Marimekko collections. Fascinated by flowers, she went on to design a whole range of novel floral prints, and Unikko has symbolised creativity ever since.
Made in Estonia from a blend of 59% cotton and 41% linen, it measures 40 x 60 cm. It is available in Off-White / Pink / Chestnut / Light Yellow. Follow the washing temperature given on the label.
Place it in the small of the back on a sofa or armchair, mixed with square covers from the Marimekko collection.
