The Marimekko Unikko Cushion is quilted in unbleached cotton, the poppy stitched into the surface rather than printed across it. The cover closes with a zip and the inner cushion can be taken out, so the cover can be washed on its own. Unikko was born in 1964, at a time when Marimekko collections held almost no floral designs. Maija Isola was fascinated by flowers and drew a whole range of novel floral prints, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
The cover is 100% organic cotton with a cotton lining, and the padding is 100% recycled polyester. The cushion measures 60 x 60 cm and comes in Linen / Off-White. Wash with like colours and follow the washing temperature given, allowing for shrinkage of up to 5%. Made in Turkey.
Lean it against the headboard or set it in a reading chair, with a blanket from the Marimekko collection.
