VL38 Floor Lampは、1930年代にヴィルヘルム・ラウリツェンがRadiohusetビルのために手がけたオリジナルデザインをもとに、クラシックを洗練された形でアップデートしたモデルです。第二次世界大戦後にルイスポールセンのカタログで初めて登場したVL38は、2016年に現代的なLED技術を搭載して復刻されました。2017年に発表されたブラックエディションは、レトロな美しさと柔らかく曲線的な表情を保ちながら、ランプの輪郭をいっそう際立たせ、時代を超えつつも現代的なデザインに仕上げています。
