VL38 テーブルランプは、1930年代後半にヴィルヘルム・ラウリツェンがコペンハーゲンの Radiohuset ビルのためにデザインし、第二次世界大戦後にルイスポールセンのカタログに登場しました。2016年にLED技術を採用して復刻され、レトロな魅力をそのままに、現在はホワイト/ブラス仕様と2017年に発表されたブラック仕様で展開されています。ブラック仕様は、オリジナルデザインの柔らかな曲線を保ちながら、より力強い輪郭を備えています。
