Lütken's rounded line
Per Lütken was drawn to sweeping, feminine curves. In Idéelle they show as gently swelling bowls and a softly rolled rim that makes even small glasses comfortable to hold. Each glass is mouth-blown, so every piece varies slightly.
Classic Danish lunch
Chill the 3 cl shot glass briefly in the freezer for ice-cold aquavit and pair it with the 25 or 36 cl beer glass. The 19 cl tumbler serves water through the meal. The stemless pieces also suit an everyday table.

1916–1998
Per Lütken graduated from the School of Danish Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen in 1938 and joined Holmegaard at 25 with no experience of glass. He became artistic director in 1942, succeeding Jacob E. Bang, and drew more than 3,000 designs before his death in 1998.
