This cotton fabric carries the small scale Pieni Kukasta kukkaan pattern, printed in Helsinki, and is supplied as a full 10 metre roll. Erja Hirvi painted the joyfully blossoming Kukasta kukkaan print during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely drawn design captures the many ways flowers appear in nature, and its Finnish name translates as from flower to flower, a nod to bumblebees moving between summer blooms.
Woven in Finland from 100% organic cotton, it has a pattern repeat of 88 cm. It is available in Natural White / Plum / Pink, Hay / Plum / Bronze / Terracotta, Bronze / Natural White and Pale Green / Off-White. Follow the washing temperature given, iron on the reverse side and allow for shrinkage of up to 4%.
A full roll covers curtains and cushions for a whole room, ready to sit alongside pieces from the Marimekko collection.
