De VL38 tafellamp, eind jaren 30 ontworpen door Vilhelm Lauritzen voor het Radiohuset-gebouw in Kopenhagen, werd na de Tweede Wereldoorlog opgenomen in de catalogi van Louis Poulsen. In 2016 opnieuw uitgebracht met LED-technologie behoudt de lamp zijn retrocharme; hij is nu verkrijgbaar in wit/messing en in een zwarte versie die in 2017 werd geïntroduceerd, met een krachtigere contour terwijl de zachte rondingen van het oorspronkelijke ontwerp behouden blijven.
