This large round tray is made of laminated birch plywood and printed with the Kukasta kukkaan pattern, while the reverse keeps the natural colour of the plywood. Erja Hirvi painted the joyfully blossoming Kukasta kukkaan print during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely drawn design captures the many ways flowers appear in nature, and its Finnish name translates as from flower to flower, a nod to bumblebees moving between summer blooms.
Made in Sweden from 100% certified birch, the tray measures 46 cm across, is food safe and stays light in the hand. It is available in Pink / Off-White / Terracotta / Plum. Wipe it with a damp cloth or wash it by hand, and do not soak it.
Use it to carry breakfast or drinks, or leave it out as a surface for candles and glasses, together with more pieces from the Marimekko collection.
