The Marimekko Oiva / Unikko Bowl 9 dl is the large bowl in the Oiva range, printed with the Unikko poppy. Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964, when floral prints were almost absent from Marimekko collections. Isola drew the poppy as an abstraction of a flower rather than a likeness, and it has since become an icon of print design. Oiva tableware is designed by Sami Ruotsalainen.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, it holds 9 dl, measures 16.5 cm across and stands 8.8 cm high, in White / Red / Blue. It is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it holds a small amount of metal.
Fill it with salad or porridge, or use it to serve fruit at the table, and pair it with plates from the Marimekko collection.
