The Marimekko Oiva / Unikko Mug brings the Unikko poppy to the Oiva mug shape, designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Unikko dates from 1964, when Marimekko collections held almost no florals: Maija Isola was drawn to the theme and designed a complete range of new floral prints, and the poppy now stands for creativity.
The mug is made in Thailand from white stoneware, holds 2.5 dl and measures 8 cm across and 9.5 cm high. It is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe, and comes in White / Plum / Cranberry / Pink, White / Dark Green / Beige / Light Sand, White / Beige / Light Sand / Dark Green and White / Clay / Rose. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Keep a few colourways in the cupboard so everyone has their own, and match them to the Oiva plates in the Marimekko collection.
