This heavyweight cotton sateen comes as a 10 metre roll printed in Helsinki with the Unikko 60th Anniversary pattern. Unikko, a symbol of creativity, was born in 1964 at a time when hardly any floral designs featured in Marimekko's collections, and Maija Isola went on to draw a whole family of flower prints.
The cloth is 100% organic cotton with a sateen finish that gives the print a soft sheen, and the pattern repeat is a large 213 cm, supplied as a full 10 metre length. It comes in Blueberry / Off-White / Cool Blue. Wash with like colours at the stated temperature and allow for shrinkage of up to 4%.
A full roll suits floor-length curtains that show the whole repeat, alongside other Unikko pieces in the Marimekko collection.
