The Marimekko Piccolo Bag is a cotton tote printed in Helsinki, with the Marimekko label sewn on the front. Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo in 1953, the year she joined Marimekko, painting the stripe with vivid brushstrokes; three years later the Jokapoika shirt made from the fabric reached the shops and the streets, and it has stayed there.
The bag is sewn in Estonia from 100% organic cotton, measures 43 x 44 cm and comes in Pink / Cranberry. The fabric carries an Oeko-Tex certificate. Wash at the temperature given.
