This cotton fabric comes as a 10 metre roll printed in Helsinki with Keidas, a pattern Annika Rimala designed in 1967. In the latter half of the 1960s Rimala drew heavily on the youth culture of the time, and Keidas, the Finnish word for oasis, is a prime example of the rhythmic patterns of those years.
The cloth is 100% cotton with a pattern repeat of 88 cm, supplied as a full 10 metre length, and comes in Pink / Burgundy / Red and Blueberry / Light Yellow / Cerulean. Wash it at the stated temperature, iron on the reverse side and allow for shrinkage of up to 4%.
A roll covers curtains for a whole room or a larger upholstery project, alongside the other printed cottons in the Marimekko collection.
