AD 34 Art Déco Table Lamp

Based on a 1934 French Art Déco model and revised by TECNOLUMEN, the AD 34 table lamp has an adjustable reflector and linkage in clear-lacquered aluminium with chrome-plated sides. The rotatable reflector allows personalised lighting while preserving classic Art Déco flair. Each lamp is numbered and carries the TECNOLUMEN signet.

The original lamp belongs to the machine-age strand of French Art Déco, when designers of the 1930s embraced aluminium and chrome — materials of aviation and industry — for the home and office. TECNOLUMEN, the Bremen manufacturer best known for its authorised re-edition of Wilhelm Wagenfeld's Bauhaus table lamp WG 24, applies the same archival care here: the geometry of the 1934 model is preserved while the construction is carefully revised for daily use. Sequential numbering and the maker's signet mark each piece as part of this documented lineage rather than a loose homage.

Functionally, the AD 34 is the most task-oriented lamp in the Art Déco line. Its rotatable reflector lets you aim light precisely where it is needed — onto a keyboard, a notebook or the pages of a book — which makes it a natural choice for a desk, a home-office corner or a bedside table.
