The Cirque Pendant began as a folded paper study in the Stockholm studio of graphic designer Clara von Zweigbergk: set spinning, its coloured fields appeared to merge into unbroken rings. Louis Poulsen translated that observation into a spun-aluminium shade whose painted bands wrap the form in seamless transitions — a playful nod to the balloons, carousels and onion domes of Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens, with a white-lacquered inner reflector for soft, glare-free downlight.
Its modest footprint makes Cirque easy to live with: hang a single pendant low over a bedside table or café corner, or mix sizes and colourways in a row above a kitchen counter for rhythm.
