The Keglen Pendant — Danish for “the cone” — grew from the pendant Louis Poulsen created with BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) for the Tirpitz Museum, sunk into the dunes of Denmark's west coast. Its quiet drama lies where the materials meet: a precise spun-aluminium cone is interrupted by a curved opal insert that appears to flow around the stem like a drop of water, diffusing the built-in LED into a soft halo while the cone presses the rest of the light downward, entirely glare-free.
The four diameters are the key to styling this pendant lamp: a single large cone makes a confident statement over a round dining table, while a run of smaller ones suits a kitchen island or long counter, hanging comfortably even at eye level.
