The Toldbod Glass Pendant, launched in 2002, is named after the historic Toldbod quarter on Copenhagen's waterfront where Louis Poulsen was long headquartered. Its softly rounded shade is mouth-blown in three-layer opal glass — white inner layers diffusing the light evenly, glossy outside lending a quiet glow — while the reflector geometry, inherited from Poul Henningsen's PH Ellipse studies, directs a comfortable, glare-free cone of light downward.
In two compact diameters, this pendant lamp is a natural team player: hang a single Ø 220 above a bedside table or reading nook to free surface space, or line up several Ø 155 over a kitchen counter or narrow dining table.
