The Yuh Floor Lamp, designed by Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen in 2017, carries Poul Henningsen's glare-free thinking into a contemporary idiom. The cylindrical shade — circular below, linear above — rotates, slides along its brass stem and tilts, so the light goes precisely where you need it, while a slim opening in the top releases a soft ambient glow. The name echoes “you”: a lamp designed around the person beside it.
That adjustability makes Yuh one of the most space-efficient ways to light a home: slide the shade low for focused evening reading, raise and rotate it toward the wall for indirect light.
