The Marimekko Piirto Ketunmarja Cushion Cover is printed in Helsinki with golden pigment, so the cowberry pattern that Aino-Maija Metsola drew in 2018 reads as a fine line drawing across the cloth. A concealed zipper runs along one side.
The cover is made in Estonia from unbleached cotton, of which 25% is organic and 25% recycled, and measures 50 x 50 cm in Off-White / Gold. Unbleached and recycled fibres give the surface a lively character with small areas of differing colour, and it carries an Oeko-Tex certificate. Wash inside out at the temperature given and iron on the reverse.
Use it to warm up a neutral sofa with a little gold, alongside other textiles from the Marimekko collection.
