The Keglen Floor Lamp extends the collaboration between Louis Poulsen and BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) that began with a pendant for the Tirpitz Museum, carved into the dunes of Denmark's west coast. Keglen — Danish for “the cone” — pairs a crisp aluminium cone with a curved diffuser that swells around the stem like a drop of water caught mid-fall, softening the built-in LED as the light passes through.
As a floor lamp it is a study in discretion: the cone delivers a focused, glare-free pool of light beside a reading chair or sofa, while the diffuser lifts a gentle glow so the lamp never feels harsh in a dark room, and the slender stem slips easily behind furniture.
