The Panthella Floor Lamp is the grandest member of Verner Panton's 1971 family for Louis Poulsen, and the closest to his original vision of furniture-scale light sculpture. The white trumpet stem and hemispherical opal acrylic shade work together as one continuous reflector: light bounces off the base and diffuses through the shade, so the lamp glows softly with no glare at all — unchanged in production since 1971, because nothing about it has dated.
Place this floor lamp beside a sofa or reading chair, in a dim corner that needs life, or near a window where its sculptural profile shows by day. In the evening it can replace the ceiling light entirely, trading overhead brightness for a calmer, lower atmosphere. See more floor lamps or explore the Verner Panton collection.
