The PH 2/1 Wall Lamp scales Poul Henningsen's gold-medal three-shade system — born in 1925–26 and grown into a family of over thirty fixtures with Louis Poulsen — to its most compact wall-mounted form. A 20 cm top shade and the smallest lower-shade set in mouth-blown white opal glass intercept the light along logarithmic-spiral curves and fold it downwards in soft, overlapping layers, carried on a bright chrome-plated brass arm.
A wall lamp earns its keep where surfaces are scarce: beside a bed it frees the nightstand entirely, and flanking a mirror or sofa it adds layered light without a floor lamp's footprint — mount a matched pair for symmetry, or pair it with a PH pendant in the same language.
