The PH 3-2½ Outdoor Wall Lamp carries Poul Henningsen's mission — taming the harsh glare of the electric bulb — out onto the facade. A 30 cm top shade and smaller 2½ lower shades follow the logarithmic-spiral geometry of his 1926 three-shade system for Louis Poulsen, their matt white-painted interiors diffusing a generous, comfortable pool of light downwards, in weather-resistant black-lacquered stainless steel and aluminium.
Use it to mark an entrance, flank a garden door or warm a balcony: because the light is glare-free even at eye level beside a doorway, it welcomes rather than blinds — and a single fixture can turn an unused outdoor corner into an evening retreat.
