The PH 4½-3 Outdoor Wall Lamp, launched in 1966, belongs to the last generation of designs from Poul Henningsen's own hand. A generous 45 cm top shade pairs with smaller lower shades — a hybrid proportion conceived for lamps that sit lower and closer to the viewer — every curve on the logarithmic spiral so the bulb is never visible. This outdoor version is executed in spun, untreated copper that develops a rich patina over the years, with matt white-painted shade interiors for diffused, comfortable light.
