The Toldbod 155 Outdoor Wall Lamp borrows its optics from Poul Henningsen's PH Ellipse reflector: the bulb sits recessed deep within the spun shade, so the fixture throws a precise, 100% downward wash of light with no direct glare — it even fulfils full cut-off criteria. The name honours Toldboden, the customs quay on Copenhagen's harbour where Louis Poulsen was long headquartered and whose street lighting the company has supplied for a century.
