The VL 38 Floor Lamp updates Vilhelm Lauritzen's 1930s design for Radiohuset, the Danish Broadcasting House whose every fitting his studio drew and Louis Poulsen produced. Relaunched in 2016 with LED technology, it keeps the warm, organic functionalism that set Lauritzen apart: a small, tiltable shade with a white-painted inside on a slender curved brass stem — a reading companion rather than a statement piece, though its lineage gives it plenty to say.
