Introduced in 2025, the VL Ring Crown Floor Lamp extends Vilhelm Lauritzen's Radiohuset family — over 80 years of history — into a free-standing form. True to the original, it pairs satin-polished brass, left to age into a personal patina, with a glossy, three-layer, mouth-blown opal-white glass shade whose bottom opening gives direct downward light while the layered glass diffuses a soft, even glow around it.
A floor lamp like this adds atmosphere without any installation — place it beside a sofa, reading chair or bed and plug in, ideal for rentals where ceiling work is impossible.
