The PH 80 Table Lamp was created in 1974 as a tribute to Poul Henningsen on what would have been his 80th birthday. It carries his glare-free, multi-shade principles — every curve derived from the logarithmic spiral so the bulb never meets the eye — into the materials of the 1970s: high-pressure moulded white opal acrylic shades, lighter and beautifully even in their glow, with the concealed red top reflector nudging the light towards candle-warmth, on a chrome-plated or white steel stem.
