designed by Arne Jacobsen
The AJ Eklipta was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1956 for Rødovre Town Hall, originally produced in two sizes: Ø350 and Ø450. Used both indoors on stairways and outdoors as wall lamps, the design was later expanded with a Ø220 version for St. Catherine’s College in England. Jacobsen himself favored the largest model for stairways, highlighting its elegant, expansive light. Today, the AJ Eklipta is used worldwide in a wide range of architectural settings, admired for its timeless simplicity.
Please note: This lamp does not include a light bulb. For optimal performance, we recommend an E27 LED bulb (8-10W, 1055 lumens)with a color temperature between 2700K and 3000K.
