Designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925-1926, the PH three-shade system revolutionized lighting by providing glare-free, direct light while creating soft shadows. The PH 3/2 Wall is part of this iconic family, which includes over 30 lighting models, with the 3/2 Wall combining a 30 cm top shade and lower shades from the 2/2 model for a hybrid design. The system's logarithmic spiral ensures even light distribution, reducing glare and shadows while providing warmth and comfort. Over the years, PH’s innovative designs, ranging from chandeliers to wall lamps, have offered endless combinations in various colors and sizes, with each shade's distance from the light source carefully calibrated for optimal illumination.
