The PH Wall lamp, launched in 1966, is part of Poul Henningsen’s iconic three-shade system, first developed in 1925–1926 with Louis Poulsen. Designed to create glare-free light, soft shadows, and precise illumination, the system evolved into over a thousand different models across table, floor, wall, and chandelier designs. PH’s scientific approach, using the logarithmic spiral, ensured even light distribution and a timeless aesthetic. The PH Wall features an approximately 45 cm top shade paired with smaller lower shades, a hybrid design that allows for lower-hanging, beautifully balanced light.
