The VL38 Wall Lamp is based on the original VL38 Table Lamp, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the late 1930s for the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen. Initially introduced in Louis Poulsen catalogues in the 1940s, the lamp was relaunched in 2016 with modern LED technology for improved energy efficiency. The white and brass version retains the soft, curvy expression of the original design, while the 2017 black edition features a stronger outline, enhancing its retro charm. A perfect blend of vintage design and contemporary functionality, the VL38 Wall Lamp continues to embody the timeless elegance of Lauritzen's work.

Please note that the brass surface is left untreated. This means that the surface will change over time and develop a patina. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimise light distribution. The lamp is fitted with an integrated energy-saving LED light source.
