NJP Mini Table Lamp

Introduced in 2022 by nendo's Oki Sato with Louis Poulsen, the NJP Mini is a compact take on the 2015 NJP Table. It keeps the two flexible arm joints and rear shade opening for smooth, stepless adjustment, with the arm rotating 342°. Ideal for bedrooms, desks, cafés and hotel rooms, it comes in seven colours including Rose brown, Soft pink, Petrol blue and Taupe.

The original NJP Table was Oki Sato's LED-age answer to the classic architect lamp: exposed springs and joints in the tradition of the 1930s task lamps, plus a chimney-shaped head that vents heat and reflects a soft trace of light back down the arm. With the Mini, nendo and Louis Poulsen scaled that idea for the way people actually live now — smaller desks, shared tables, bedside corners. The proportions shrank but none of the mechanics did: two flexible joints, a 342° rotating arm and a precisely aimable head give the Mini the same range of motion as its larger sibling. The expanded palette of seven muted colours also marks a shift — where architect lamps were once office equipment, the Mini is unmistakably a piece for the home.
