The Marimekko Oiva / Unikko Plate is the dinner sized plate in the Oiva range, a shape designed by Sami Ruotsalainen and printed here with Unikko. The poppy was born in 1964, when Marimekko collections ran mostly to abstract prints, and Maija Isola answered with an entire range of florals; today it stands for creativity.
It is made in Thailand from white stoneware, measures 25 cm across and is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. The plate comes in White / Plum / Cranberry / Pink, White / Beige / Light Sand / Dark Green, White / Light Blue / Pale Rose, White / Clay / Rose, White / Black, White and White / Beige. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Mix colourways around one table, or keep to one for a quieter setting, with more Oiva in the Marimekko collection.
