The Unikko Cork Placemat is cut to the outline of the poppy and printed with the flower on its top side, so the pattern and the shape are one. Unikko was created in 1964, when Maija Isola set a range of florals against Marimekko's largely abstract collections, and it has stood for creativity ever since.
The mat is made from 100% cork and measures 45 cm across. It comes in Cork / Hay / Brown. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth, and note that it is not intended for use as a trivet under hot pans.
