The PH 1/1 Chandelier Centenary Edition revives the chandelier nicknamed “Bombardement”, part of the Louis Poulsen catalogue from 1933 to the mid-1960s, to mark one hundred years of the PH lamp. Multiple arms each carry a complete three-shade set from Poul Henningsen's 1926 System PH, mouth-blown in four-layered dusty-terracotta opal glass on bronzed, aged brass — released in strictly limited numbers (1000 three-armed, 400 six-armed), each engraved with a unique gold number.
A chandelier of this character asks for a setting where it can preside: above a dining table, in an entrance hall, or at the centre of a living room. Because every shade works by reflection, the light is gentle enough for low evening dining yet rich enough to fill the room.
