The PH 3/2 Pale Rose Table Lamp renders Poul Henningsen's “island of light” — complete by 1927, a year after his three-shade system debuted with Louis Poulsen — in softly blushing glass. The shades follow his logarithmic-spiral geometry, mouth-blown in four layers of pale rose glass with sandblasted white undersides for diffusion, and paired with brushed, unlacquered brass that darkens gracefully over the years, making each lamp subtly its own.
The rose glass casts an unusually flattering light — warmer and softer than white opal — wonderful on a bedside table, a vanity or a living-room side table where people talk in the evening: a sculptural object by day, the room's most atmospheric light by night. Pair it with pieces from the Louis Poulsen collection or compare our table lamps.
Light source: E14, 1 bulb, max 40 W. IP20, indoor. Bulb not included.
