The PH 3½-3 Pendant is Poul Henningsen's three-shade system rendered entirely in mouth-blown, three-layer opal glass — a 35 cm top shade over lower shades from the 3 size group. Developed with Louis Poulsen in 1926, every curve sits on a logarithmic spiral so the angle of reflection stays constant and no direct light reaches the eye. Glossy on top and sandblasted matte underneath, the glass stays crisp in profile yet soft in effect, the whole form gently luminous.
