The PH 4/3 Pendant, designed in 1966, is one of the last designs of Poul Henningsen's lifetime — a distillation of a celebrated 1929 model into a cleaner, all-metal form. The optical core of the system he introduced with Louis Poulsen in 1926 remains intact: shades placed on a logarithmic spiral with the bulb at the focal point, reflecting light downward at a constant angle so the source never meets the eye. The white-painted interior acts as the reflector, giving the even, comfortable light the PH family is known for.
