Created for Copenhagen's Langelinie Pavilion, the Artichoke conceals its bulb behind 72 hand-mounted steel leaves in 12 precise rows — and the first copper versions had their inner leaves painted a warm rose to soften the light's colour. Louis Poulsen's Pale Rose edition finishes every leaf in that delicate hue, hand-assembled in Denmark as it has been since 1958.
