The PH 3/2 Table Lamp Centenary Edition honours one hundred years of System PH — the mathematical principle Poul Henningsen perfected with Louis Poulsen in 1926, placing every shade on a logarithmic spiral so light reflects outward in even layers while the bulb stays hidden. The edition looks back to the materials of those earliest years: lacquered aged brass that keeps its lived-in warmth, a mouth-blown four-layer amber upper shade, and three-layer white-opal lower shades, glossy outside and sandblasted matt inside, finished with a dark-brown textile cord.
It gives its best on a sideboard, console or desk where the amber glow can warm the surrounding wall — the upward light is as much a part of the design as the reading light below, pairing richly with dark wood, leather and deep wall colours.
